Born and raised in New York, Joel was a standout baseball pitcher in high school and was recruited by the California Angels, though he chose to accept a baseball scholarship to the University of Maryland instead. After college, Joel started his career in sports marketing and event sponsorship sales, working with top sports organizations including the NBA, Washington Bullets, Jose Cuervo Beach Volleyball, and many others.

Within recent years, Joel moved on to excel in advertising sales and publishing, holding management roles with the leading website for law enforcement in the USA, technology consulting firms, and satellite communications for the aviation industry. In recent years, Joel has become an expert in real estate sales, given his charismatic personality, his dedication to his clients, and his expert knowledge of the city. In addition, his family owned a hugely successful home design and remodelling business, so his experience with hand-on renovations is unsurpassed. Joel is married to Carol E. Levy, the love of his life, and together they have eight incredible children.



As Director of Marketing and Communications, Jacqueline is responsible for all the Carol E. Levy “branding” as well as all communications, marketing, website development, graphic design, and copy editing.

Over her 25 year career Jackie has had countless famous clients including chefs like David Bouley and David Feau, famous New York City restaurants Bouley, Danube, and Chez Josephine, as well as hundreds of others nationwide in all types of industries. She is a top-selling non-fiction author, and journalist.



A native New Yorker who has lived in Manhattan for over 30 years, Susan is an invaluable asset to Carol E. Levy Real Estate as her intimate knowledge of Manhattan is a tremendous resource for her clients wishing to call this great city “home”. Prior to joining the firm, Susan excelled in a long career in top-level management in executive recruiting and advertising for Rolling Stone Magazine where she finely honed her interpersonal skills. Now in the real estate world, she intently focuses on achieving every client’s goals to ensure a smooth, timely and enjoyable experience. In addition, Susan’s work ethic, integrity and sense of humor, keeps her clients loyal.

Having bought, designed, renovated and sold her own co-ops in New York City and Sag Harbor, Susan is also well aware of the profound emotions that are central to making one of life’s major decisions: buying or selling a home. Raising a daughter in New York City with her husband, she is able to provide a wealth of information, from private and public schools to first hand knowledge of the unique and varied New York neighborhoods. Alex assists Carol and the team in day-to-day operations around the office, from scheduling appointments, to assisting in staging, arranging for deliveries, and transportation.
